Objective of Business contract 

The Government of the Central African Republic grants to the company K-POLYGONE RCA Sarl, which accepts the operation in Bangui and certain cities, of a Public Service for the management and issuance of provisional Immatriculation , allowing vehicles to circulate legally pending final registration procedures, in accordance with the Highway Code and transport regulations in force within the Central African Republic. 

Role of K-Polygone

  • Manage and operate the provisional immatriculation service in accordance with current legislation.
  • Establish and operate dedicated registration centres and mobile units according to the approved schedule.
  • Process and validate applications for provisional immatriculation of vehicles.
  • Maintain a computerized database centralizing vehicle information, owner details, temporary registration numbers and registration history.
  • Issue provisional immatriculation certificates, temporary plates and payment receipts to vehicle owners.
  • Ensure the traceability and monitoring of vehicles under provisional immatriculation status.
  • Transmit periodic statistical and operational reports to the Administration through electronic means.

Result of the Project

  • Simplified and accelerated procedures for vehicle circulation before final immatriculation,
  • Improved management and traceability of temporarily registered vehicles,
  • Reduction of administrative delays related to vehicle immatriculation processes,
  • Modernization and digitalization of vehicle immatriculation services,
  • Additional revenue generation for the State through registration-related services,
  • Improved compliance with transport regulations and better integration with future digital transport management systems.
