Objective of Business contract
The Government of the Central African Republic grants to the company K-POLYGONE RCA Sarl, which accepts the operation in Bangui and certain cities, of a Public Service related to the authorization, regulation and management of tinted vehicle windows, in accordance with the national Highway Code and the regulations governing vehicle safety, identification and public security within the Central African Republic.

Role of K-Polygone

  • Manage and supervise the process for requesting and issuing tinted window authorizations for vehicles.
  • Establish and operate dedicated service centres for the registration and control of tinted window applications.
  • Ensure compliance of vehicles with the authorized opacity standards and national transport regulations.
  • Maintain a computerized database centralizing information related to authorized vehicles and owners.
  • Issue official authorization documents and receipts to vehicle owners after validation and payment procedures.
  • Collaborate with transport and security authorities to facilitate monitoring and verification operations.
  • Transmit periodic statistical and operational reports to the Administration through electronic means.

Result of the Project

  • Improved identification and regulation of vehicles using tinted windows,
  • Reinforcement of public security and facilitation of law enforcement operations,
  • Modernization and digitalization of the authorization and monitoring process,
  • Better traceability and centralized management of vehicle information,
  • Additional revenue generation for the State through regulated authorization services,
  • Improved compliance with national transport and road safety regulations.
