Objective of Business contract
The principal grants to the K-POLYGONE to act in its place and stead in accordance with the implementation and management of the Trade Facilitation Portal and to contribute to making cross-border trade (imports, exports and transit) faster, cheaper and more predictable, while ensuring its safety and security. In terms of orientation, this is to simplify and harmonize formalities, procedures and the exchange of information and related documents between the different partners in the supply and control chain.
Role of K-Polygone
The organization and implementation of multimodal information systems,
Information and communication technologies applied to the international trade sector,
Set up the trade facilitation portal within the time limits set with the principal and maintain it in perfect working order.
Issue exclusively the certificates and derived documents for each import, export, transit cargo, via a secure electronic system.
Collect certificate fees by applying the scale set by the Order or Ministerial Decree and pay them according to the distribution key agreed in Article 8.
Confidentiality: Guarantee the confidentiality of the data (commercial, financial, etc.) collected and not use them for purposes other than those provided for. This obligation continues after the expiration or termination of this contract.
Result of the Project
Optimize the collection of duties and taxes, thanks to better visibility of the flow of goods
Simplify procedures for economic operators (shippers, freight forwarders, carriers), through a single dematerialized portal.
Strengthen the competitiveness of transport corridors linking Equatorial Guinea to neighboring countries.
Ensure a gradual transfer of skills for future autonomy of the State in the management of the platform.
